401k retirement plan. Soren McAdam contributes 3 percent of your salary, whether or not you contribute, upon eligibility.
Medical coverage is a choice through Anthem PPO or Kaiser. Soren McAdam covers 100 percent of the employee’s premium. Dependent coverage is available at the employee’s expense. Eligibility begins the first of the month following the date of hire.
Dental coverage through Ameritas. Soren McAdam covers 100 percent of the employee’s premium. Dependent coverage is available at the employee’s expense. Eligibility begins the first of the month following the date of hire.
Vision coverage through Vision Plan of America. This is a voluntary benefit paid by the employee.
Life insurance through Lincoln National Life Insurance Company. This plan provides 250 percent of basic annual earnings up to a maximum of $300,000. The plan becomes effective the first of the month after 30 days of employment.
Long term disability insurance through Lincoln National Life Insurance Company. This plan provides two-thirds of basic monthly earnings up to a maximum of $5,000. The plan becomes effective the first of the month after 30 days of employment.
Personal time off (PTO) plan accrues 10 hours each month.
Paycheck direct deposit (up to three different accounts).
Cafeteria flex spending plan for childcare, medical expenses and employee premium costs.
Holidays. Soren McAdam provides 9 paid holidays each year.
Friday breakfast. Soren McAdam provides donuts, bagels and fruit on Fridays.
Dry cleaning. Soren McAdam provides pick-up and delivery on Tuesdays and Thursdays at employee expense.
Postage. Two mail runs a day at employee expense.
Beverages. Unlimited soda, tea and coffee. All cans and plastic containers are recycled.
Birthday treats. Soren McAdam provides treats and a celebration for all birthdays each month.
Busy season Wednesday lunches.
After tax season get together. An April 15th celebration to help employees and their families relax and enjoy the passage of busy season. Past events have included partners cooking BBQ for employees and families, a food truck in the parking lot, games for kids and a relaxing outdoor setting.
Continuing professional education. Soren McAdam pays all fees and costs for approved courses.
Licenses and professional organizations. Soren McAdam pays fees for CPA license and memberships in AICPA, CalCPA and other approved industry or professional organizations.
