RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPERTISE
Rosemarie has extensive experience in public accounting having practiced in the area of taxation at several large public accounting firms. Throughout her career, she has served corporate and pass through entities across various industry sectors including real estate, entertainment, hospitality, insurance, and manufacturing and distribution. She also has in-depth experience serving nonprofit clients, and joined the firm from Grant Thornton LLP where she was a director and nonprofit tax practice leader for clients in the Western United States. In that role, she provided guidance on various matters including compliance with Form 990 and 990-PF reporting, unrelated business income and governance policies. She also taught at internal seminars and most recently served as a panelist at the 2017 Loyola Law School Western Conference on Tax Exempt Organizations where she provided insights on the topic of “Profits for Nonprofits”.
Rosemarie also has experience providing representation services for both IRS and state examinations. She has taught accounting as an adjunct faculty at the college and university level and currently teaches accounting ethics at Cal Poly Pomona. She is also a certified facilitator in culture transformation and experiential learning in organizations.
