Soren McAdam About Us - landscape photo of mountain view

Our City

Redlands is a city of nearly 70,000 people located within an hour’s drive from Pacific Ocean beaches and mountain resorts. From this location in the heart of Southern California’s Inland Empire, Soren McAdam serves a primary business region with more than 4 million people.

Incorporated in 1888, Redlands is one of the oldest communities in Southern California. Throughout the 1950s, it was home to the largest navel orange producing region in the world. In its early days, Redlands became a popular wintering spot for wealthy Easterners and a convenient stopover for Hollywood celebrities going from Los Angeles (50 miles west) to desert resorts in Palm Springs (50 miles east).

Today, Redlands has thrived by balancing its historic roots with modern-day amenities. Victorian and Craftsman architecture is widely visible throughout the community and the San Bernardino County Museum is right next to our offices. The University of Redlands was recently named to Forbes’ list of America’s Top Colleges, and the Redlands Bowl remains home to the nation’s oldest free summer music festival. For history buffs, the Lincoln Memorial Shrine and Historical Glass Museum offer glimpses into significant periods of America’s past.  And, in a nod to its agricultural roots, Redlands hosts “Market Night” every Thursday evening, complete with a farmer’s market, product vendors and musical entertainment.

As a proud Redlands business, Soren McAdam is an active participant in many civic and service-based organizations. We love our town and encourage you to share in the experience.
