RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPERTISE
Fei Zhao, CPA, MST, is a seasoned tax professional with over 24 years of experience. She joined Soren McAdam in 2024 as a Senior Tax Manager.
Fei began her public accounting career with KPMG in Virginia before relocating to California over 15 years ago. Throughout her career at both national and regional firms, Fei has developed a strong focus on helping families, fiduciaries, and closely held business owners navigate the complexities of wealth transfer and estate planning.
She works closely with high-net-worth individuals, business owners, trustees, executors, and beneficiaries – often in collaboration with attorneys, financial planners, and other advisors – to craft thoughtful, tax-efficient strategies for preserving and transferring wealth across generations. Fei is also highly experienced in post-mortem tax planning and compliance, providing clear, compassionate guidance during periods of transition.
Additionally, Fei has extensive experience assisting new immigrants to the United States with cross-border tax compliance and planning.
Fei is fluent in both written and spoken Mandarin Chinese.
